ST. PAUL (Reuters) - The 17-year-old daughter of Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is pregnant, Palin said on Monday in an announcement intended to knock down rumors by liberal bloggers that Palin faked her own pregnancy to cover up for her child.

That's liberal bloggers failing at tabloid smear rumors. The side effect, a positive. Here's a showcase of the "worst thing that could happen" besides her being gay, and spinning it into family values. She's having the baby and marrying the father, a practice sure to create a lasting marriage and happy family, right? What should be pointed out is that this is the result of abstinence only education without comprehensive sex education. Palin opposes comprehensive sex education.
